So, because I've been doing more professional gigs, I figured it was time for a more professional camera. While my 350D has lived with me in Europe, travelled to about 15 U.S. states and has taken 95% of all the pictures here on dA, it's time to move on, much like with other things in life.
I purchased a Canon 50D over the 5D simply based on price. I figured having HD video capabilities built into my DSLR would be nice, the price difference would allow me to buy a full featured HD camcorder. The 5D has a full frame sensor, but I already have digital lenses to make up for the 1.6x zoom that happens because of the difference in sensor size. The rest really doesn't matter to me.
I still have a few things to post from my 2 months in Central America and Europe, but you'll hopefully see some new shots with the Canon 50D in the next couple of weeks or so.
